The Belgian Shepherd Dog Association of Great Britain celebrated its thirty fifth anniversary in 2000. In 2001 it held its 25th Championship Show.
The Association has always been concerned with all the four varieties of Belgian Shepherd Groenendael (long haired black), Tervueren (long haired, all shades of red , fawn and grey with black mask and overlay), Malinois (short haired, colour as Tervueren) and Laekenois (wirehaired, reddish fawn with black shading). The Association is involved in aspects of showing, working and also runs an active Breed Rescue Service looking after the welfare of all varieties. Offers of assistance and donations are always welcome.
Judges Lists Update
The BSDA of GB will be revising its judges
lists in the near future.
Could people send their updates to Val Thompson at
val@valson.freeserve.co.uk as soon as possible. We need to hear
from people on the C, B and B* lists only with numbers of dogs and shows
judged, exams passed etc, preferably on the form which is downloadable
from the link below in Microsoft Word format. If anyone needs it in
a different format please contact the
